This book is years in the making. . .

When my friend, Bridget Sicsko first opened the doors to Exalted Publishing House, I told her how I felt it in my bones that there needed to be a book about the full spectrum of leadership in today’s world.

It never felt “right” so years began to pass until March 2022 when it landed for us…

… just like leadership isn’t about one person’s mission, neither is this book.

22 authors have come together to tell you their stories and perspectives on how to become an extraordinary leader.

Each chapter is unique and written by a different person.

You may read it straight through, or you may crack it open to a random chapter that then cracks you open.

You might read about an author’s path to their purpose.

You may journey with them through claiming their identity.

You may cry with them through heartbreak and cheer with them through reclaiming their power.

One thing we wish for is that through it all, you get to see a piece of yourself within these stories.

Revolutionizing Heart Centered Healthcare

I identified with Elizabeth Martin's chapter where she talks about connecting the eastern and western methods of healthcare. Living in America, I notice very many doctors wanting to go right to medicine or surgery to solve medical issues. This is unfortunate because choosing to immediately medicate or get surgery could lead to further problems, which could have easily been avoided if the issues were thought of in a holistic way.

A MUST READ for all current and future leaders!
I highly recommend this book to everyone, even those not yet in a leadership role. The authors are vulnerable and highly relatable and offer potent wisdom that can be valuable to anyone in any stage of their life. I am so grateful that this book exists and I see it changing the world. I purchased a bunch and will be getting it into the hands of as many people as I can!

Great book on leadership 📚

At some point in one's career, everyone will either find themselves placed in charge of a team or tasked with being a member of that team. However, regardless of what position you hold, you need to be able to identify organizational attributes that are supporting or hampering your team's progress.

This book gives great details some great strategies to identify strengths and weaknesses within the team and offers suggestions on how to improve upon those factors.

I Highly recommend this for both personal development or to augment an organization's leader professional development program. One of the person mentioned in the Book is Ms.Helen Stagg a great leader, powerful Grant writer and some one you can definitely learn from.

Insightful and heartfelt stories to inspire the leader in all of us

Wonderful advice and heartfelt anecdotes for the budding leader in all of us. I was touched and pleasantly surprised by how vulnerable the authors were willing to be in recounting their own life's journeys and how those experiences ultimately shaped their leadership styles. As a fellow child of Asian immigrants, Clarissa's story was especially deeply relatable! Although my own experiences were certainly not as harrowing (read her chapter to find out more)!

Different perspective on leadership

I've long been frustrated by how my culture tends to define effective leadership in terms of hierarchy, power, and influence over others. Finally, there is a book that approaches successful leadership from a completely different lens: the heart. It discusses things like focusing on your character, leading with love, caring for the self, and shifting your concept of "legacy" away from status and achievements and more towards the lives you touch along the way. This book is a breath of fresh air and giving me a new perspective on what "leadership" looks like when the focus is on caring for self and others.
